Our History
When we arrived in this part of Tuscany in 1985, we met Signora Palmira, the farmer who had always lived in this enchanting place, and had spent a tranquil and self-sufficient existence.
Charmed by the serene atmosphere and location, we decided to buy the old barn of this ancient farming complex, and began, day by day, to rebuild it and to renovate it.
Our friendship and closeness to Signora Palmira for about 15 years has been an inspiration to us and we have always thought that us too would enjoy a peaceful existence.
For this reason Casa Palmira was founded.
One cold winter evening, Signora Palmira passed away, having lived in this place for nearly a century. But as visitors, we hope you will feel her spirit endures.
